Default Stocks

You know...I don't mind the fact that they restored the prices, and refreshed the supplies of the traders in the game, but I think that every nation deserves their own stock instead of having everything shared under one. Things are constantly getting bought out, people say they are having to sit by a trader all day for runes because the runes they are looking for gets bought out every time they see 1 appear. You have so many people buying off of 1 stock making it somewhat crazy to me.

I think keeping stocks refreshed, and prices fairly normal with each seperate server having their own stock supplies would be better to me. Maybe I am the only one who feels this way, I don't know.

So you're saying that there should be 3 different World's for GW. That doesn't make sense. If they did that, then how could intercountry battleing take place?
It's one big world, live with it.

What does intercountry battleing have to do with anything of In-game stocks of items for each country? You make no sense to me.

Alright.
There is only ONE world of GW. It happens to be seperated into districts only because of language barriars and server issues.

Still, there is ONE world. To have the traders have seperate stocks and whatnot for what country you were in wouldn't make any sense. I mean, we're all in the same ingame world, right?

**EDIT**

Alright, think a little here people. In Tyria, there IS no europe, there IS no America, there IS no Korea. They're just there for our use as players. As such, anyone playing anywhere effects the whole world. So, that's why having different stocks for different countries doesn't make any sense.

Then for explaining my little acid trip: If everyone nation had a different stock of items, wouldn't that mean that they're not the same place? If they're not in the same world/dimension, wouldn't that mean you couldn't battle against the places that don't exist in your world?

My question is that have you read the new update GW did? Claiming that they "improved" the trade for all countries so they all share off the same stock. Hence, they changed it from each country having their own stock, to all sharing on 1 stock pile.

Yes I read it. What I'm saying is that it's more realistic than what it was before. I'm also saying it's more logical, from a roleplaying aspect, to keep it how it is now.

The author displayed that he wanted them to change it back, thus my comment.

Who am I flaming? Your original post MAKES NO SENSE.

The follow up MADE EVEN LESS SENSE.

You made 2 threads in 4 minutes.

There's a pattern here.

And ranting? Since when is vocalizing an opinion based on REASON rather than madness considered ranting?

Maybe if you had the ability to read to make understanding of it?

With all of the countries buying under one STOCKPILE of items, items are being completely bought out from TRADERS making it difficult for PLAYERS to buy ITEMS from the TRADERS. Having so many thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions of players buying off of ONE stock, makes it hard for all players to get items they are looking for.

When not contributing to the substance of a thread, only to degrade it or another member, that sure seems like flaming to me.

As for this topic, I hope my edit/other comments make more sense. I'm doing this from a totally RPing point, not a super logistical (realworld) standpoint.

There was no substance to degrade. The member posted 2 threads in less time than it takes me to visit the bathroom and light a cigarette, and neither one of them make a lick of sense.

That is my point, what you are saying is not reality. Therefore, this thread makes no sense

I'll spell it out more clearly:

There is not merely ONE stock of stuff.

Problem solved.

Update – Thursday, August 11

Improved traders so that they maintain more stable prices and closer spreads between buy and sell prices.

Improved traders so that traders from all regions (America, Europe, and Korea) now buy and sell from the same stock and charge the same prices.

Now Buy and Sell from the SAME stock, hence, all of us are purchasing items all from 1 stockpile, so if someone in Korea buys everything up, someone in Europe looking for the item may be sh*t out of luck.

Read it on the site again. And again. And again. eventually your context will un-rape itself back to reality.

Umm... how does this matter? Since players live in different time zones, I doubt you playing at 11 pm and having a hard time finding a specific rune has anything to do with the European players who are all asleep at 5 in the morning or all the Korean players who are at work. You are having a hard time finding a specific item because, as usual, other people in your continent are jumping on it. Geez, something has been out for like 2 days and you jump all over it, not even giving it time to see the long term affects or even think out your complant logically.
